Let me share my FLIP process, a tool that helps me everytime I desire to add new skills and experiences into a very fullfilled life, evertime change appears on the horizon FLIP kicks in ….and the new Enrich!ed journey begins.

I am taking advantage of the #coronavirus lockdown and I am concentrating on what new skills I want to add to my rich suitcase of knowledge, so that at the end of this unprecedented crisis and limitation of movement, I know I would have invested my time wisely. I do consider myself a never stopping learner, I continuously keep on reading about anything that attracts my attention, I love what it does to my personality and I believe that it is this behavior that brought me to accept the many opportunities that life has offered me. I have lived in many countries and learned several languages, meet amazing people, all with their own suitcase of knowledge, experience, and love. During this immense journey that has been my life until now, many people have asked me if I have a tool kit that I resort to every time I make changes into my daily life. At first, when I was asked this question, I almost did not appreciate the full depth of the question and I was not sure what to answer, but more time went on, I started to analyses my behavior with different eyes, I did notice that my behavior to adapt to changes was supported by a process, that unconsciously I used to apply in all my international relocations. With years I have streamlined the process and I have called it the FLIP and it consists of 4 steps.

Step 1. Foresee myself in my new life, let it be a new role, a new country, with new friends, in a new environment. This is the phase where I discover, where my curiosity is at its peak, where I learn all the new information that I need to put in my suitcase, so I can be equipped for my new travel. It attracts my creative to envisage my new life, which brings me to

Step 2. Line up my plan on how am I going to get there, how I am going to become the new Enrich!ed me that I have envisaged in my earlier step. Planning is everything, with a plan you know where you going, you can change it on the go if you believe is not taking you where you want to be, but it is important to have a designed future to follow

Step 3. Initiate, make it happen, follow the plan, follow the idea, take the action to start your new skill whatever is your choice. You need to take that first step, the rest will follow in place. Changes happens a step at a time:)

Step 4. Anchor your Purpose with numerical and measurable indicators, in other situations, I would call them Key Performance Indicators, however, in this particular process a prefer to call it Purpose, because that is what I am looking forward to, my new purpose.

It is very relevant for me, in these days of changes, to share the FLIP process, the tool that has supported me in all these years in building such a never stopping successful life and through which I have enabled myself to add value and enrich new useful skills. Every time I have applied it has a open a door to a new experience. Which is what I am looking for just now, to turn the #coronavirus disruption into a further opportunity of personal growth. I hope it will work for you too. Happy Enrich!ed journey to all,
